Company Description
Avenue Group, once solely located in the world of cyberspace, is now traveling along the down and dirty pathways of the oil and gas industry. Chairman and CEO Levi Mochkin formed the company in 1999 to invest in Internet, e-commerce, and related IT ventures, but the company is now focusing on the oil and gas sector though the formation of its Avenue Energy subsidiary. It explores for oil and gas in the Appalachian Basin through its Avenue Appalachia 2006-LP unit. Subsidiary Avenue Energy Israel LTD, is the license holder of the Heletz-Kokhav field. The most prolific oil field in Israel, Heletz-Kokhav has produced more than 17.2 million barrels of oil equivalent. Mochkin owns 28% of Avenue Group.
