Company Description

Autobar Group is a leading operator of vending machines and corporate coffee services in the UK and a half dozen other countries. Its Autobar Vending unit supplies some 250,000 snack and beverage machines, while its Cafe Bar division provides office coffee and beverage services. Autobar also supplies customers in the foodservices industry with coffee supplies and equipment through Pelican Rouge (which also does business as Roode Pelikaan). The company's ICS and Chequer Foods units offer roast coffee and package coffee supplies for the foodservice and catering markets. Autobar's owner Charterhouse Capital has agreed to sell the firm to its UK buyout rival CVC Capital Partners for €1.2 billion ($1.5 billion).
