In 2010 the company sold some 75% of its interest in Assura Medical, which operates a network of general practitioner organizations in the UK, to Virgin Healthcare; it retained the remaining 25%. The move allowed Assura Group to focus on its core real estate activities. The following year, the company acquired AH Medical Properties.
