Company Description

Argo-Tech makes Fantasy Island's "De plane Boss, de plane!" a reality; the company keeps commercial and military aircraft aloft with its high-performance fuel-flow devices. It builds main engine fuel pumps and systems, airframe fuel pumps, and various ground fuel distribution products. Through its Carter Ground Fueling division, Argo-Tech also makes ground refueling equipment. Customers have included the US Army and Air Force; engine and airframe makers such as Airbus, Boeing, GE Aircraft Engines, and Lockheed Martin; and aerospace distributor Upsilon International. In 2007 investment concerns Greenbriar Equity Group and Vestar Capital Partners sold AT Holdings Corp., the parent of Argo-Tech, to Eaton.
