The company operates through some 30 subsidiaries (including Angang Steel ), six large iron ore mines, and four iron ore dressing, one iron-making, three steel-making, and more than a dozen steel-rolling plants. It produces about 16 million tons of steel products and another 16 million tons of iron ore annually. Anshan's steel unit is focused on producing high-end products such as electroplated, color-coated, and silicon flat steel products used to make car bodies and computer and telecomm equipment.
