Andritz Inc., formed through the merger of Sprout-Bauer (acquired in 1992) and Durametal (1992), is the US arm of Austria's Andritz AG. With more than 20 locations, the company supplies plant equipment for the pulp and paper and animal feed and bio-fuel industries. Its Sprout-Bauer and Durametal branded lineup of rotary valves, hammer mills, screeners, agitators, and other specialized machinery are used  in feed and bio ethanol production, as well as in fiber and pulp (for paper products) and chemical recovery. The company also provides process equipment parts touted to reduce energy and wear better.
