AMSC Superconductors makes high-temperature superconductor (HTS) wire used in the electrical control systems for wind turbines; it accounts for less than 5% of sales. Austrian subsidiary AMSC Windtec designs wind turbines and supports wind turbine manufacturers. Customers in the Asia/Pacific region account for more than 85% of sales.
