Like the original locomotive, American IronHorse Motorcycles (AIH) has lungs of brass, sinews of steel, and dashes along at a furious rate. The Texas-based company produces customized motorcycles including cruisers and choppers. Positioned as a high performance nameplate of V-twin motorcycles, AIH reportedly engineers many of its parts in-house. It peddles four models, four custom rides, and options for colors, wheels, and engines via a network of US dealers. AIH was founded in 1995 and forced by creditors into Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008.
