Its primary Windstar Cruises unit operates three luxury yachts that offer guests a more intimate cruise experience, carrying just 150 to 300 passengers. Windstar sails to almost 50 countries, including Europe, the Mediterranean, the Americas, and the Caribbean. In 2008, Ambassadors International was forced to shut down its seven-vessel Majestic America Line , which proved unprofitable.
