Alvord-Polk makes standard reamers, as well as special custom-made tools, for customers throughout the US. The company also offers industrial imported tools, and surplus tools. Jake Alvord and A. J. Polk founded Alvord-Polk in 1881. Ronald Boyer, the company's former president, and past secretary-treasurer Robert Rissinger bought Alvord-Polk in 1977.
