Aldata Solutions handles the details of retail. The company supplies stores ranging from specialty shops to large chains with supply-chain management, point-of-sale, and smart card systems software. Its flagship Megadisc system is designed for specialized retailers such as hardware and book and music shops, but Aldata also offers products to stores selling everything from groceries and drugs to electronics, home furnishings, and appliances. The group has more than 300 customers in 50 countries, including about a dozen of the top 30 retailers in the world.
