Company Description

Getting in and out quickly is key for Albany Door Systems. The former division of Albany International designs, manufactures, and installs high-performance industrial doors. It also offers aftermarket replacement parts for its products, which include roll-up doors, folding doors, bifold doors, and overhead doors. Its interior and exterior doors are used at cold storage facilities, parking garages, auto dealerships, and manufacturing facilities. The company's 1968 invention of the high-speed rolling door led Albany International to create the Albany Door Systems unit. In early 2012 Albany International sold the unit to Swedish lockmaker ASSA ABLOY for $130 million.
