Company Description
Rental king Aggreko provides temporary power to the powerless. A supplier of portable power generation, the company deploys electrical power and climate-control products and services to the world's largest events and its remotest spots, from presidential inaugurations to Tanzanian villages. In addition to leasing, Aggreko serves as a global power producer, installing and operating power plants during energy shortages or interim projects. It builds most of its power and chiller fleet (in excess of 7,500 megawatt capacity). Utilities in developing countries are its largest customer; Aggreko also caters to the oil and gas, military, petrochemical and refining, construction, and manufacturing markets, among many.
