The tweet heard round the world: Aerospace Communications Holdings (ACH) manufactures a stellar array of missile weapon systems, military and civilian communications (wired and wireless) equipment, and aerospace and textile products. Through multiple subsidiaries, it plies such services as radar guidance, automation, observation and control technology, as well as global positioning systems. Tie-ups exist with Samsung, Motorola, and China Unicom. Subsidiaries also produce cotton and wool apparel. To a lesser extent, ACH invests in property, and dabbles in import/export trading. A near 20% of ACH is held by China Aerospace Science & Industry, a state-owned entity and prime contractor for China's space program.
