Actavis U.S. is the US manufacturing and marketing unit of global generics firm Actavis. The company makes a wide variety of generic equivalents of both prescription and OTC drugs, in a number of forms, including liquids, tablets, creams, and suppositories. Among other consumer and specialty drugs, it makes acetaminophen, ibuprofen, and generic Rogaine. It has also launched generic versions of Pfizer's diabetes drug Glucotrol XL and GlaxoSmithKlein's Coreg tables for hypertension and myocardial infarction.
