Company Description
Abraxus Investments believes in the power of wind power. The company seeks to invest in renewable energy, namely wind farms, primarily in Central and Eastern Europe where it sees strong development opportunities. Abraxus was formerly focused on commercial real estate in the same regions, but changed course in mid-2009 as property markets around the world turned sour. That year, the company set up a subsidiary in Romania to locate and develop investment opportunities. In 2011 Astamenco, a company formed by executive Uri Heller, offered to buy the investment company. Heller owns 66% of Abraxus.
