The company, primarily through its KCA DEUTAG and Bentec subsidiaries, provides international drilling, well engineering, and wireline services in 20 countries. It also offers oil rig design and construction services. Abbot operates a fleet of 61 land drilling rigs, 39 offshore drilling platforms, and 10 mobile offshore drilling rigs. KCA DEUTAG is the largest offshore platform drilling contractor in the UK sector of the North Sea. It is also a leading land drilling contractor. Customers include TOTAL , Exxon Mobil, BP, and Hess.
