Customers can download AVG ware at the company's website and through distributors CNET, Ingram-Micro, and Wal-Mart. Its 106 million users don't pay for the company's basic products but for add-on services and premium products including AVG LiveKive, a cloud storage product, and MultiMi, a combination inbox, Web browser, and social media tool. AVG Technologies was formed in 1991 in the Czech Republic and has offices in Europe and the US; it filed to go public in 2011.
