ATI Wah Chang (formerly Wah Chang, which in part means "great development") creates specialty metals and chemicals. Wah Chang principally makes zirconium mill products, as well as other corrosion-resistant specialty metals such as hafnium, niobium, titanium, and vanadium. Its products are used in industries including aerospace, chemical processing, energy production, medical, and consumer goods. Wah Chang also provides laboratory services for metal testing and analysis. Its Ti Wire division makes titanium bar and wire products, while business unit Midwest Laboratory performs radiological monitoring.
