If you hit the road, Jack, APAC can pave your way. Part of construction materials provider Oldcastle Materials, APAC supplies paving materials to make roads, including asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and crushed stone. It operates quarries, aggregate production facilities, ready-mix concrete plants, hot-mix asphalt plants, a rail line, and a large fleet of mobile equipment. The company was formed in 1879 when it supplied asphalt for the first commercial asphalt road in the US. Formerly a subsidiary of Ashland, it was acquired by Oldcastle in 2006.
