    AMCON Distributing enjoys a healthy meal, but it's not without its vices. It's a wholesale distributor of consumer products, including cigarettes, and a retailer of health and natural foods. AMCON serves some 4,000 convenience stores, supermarkets, and institutional customers in the Great Plains and Rocky Mountain regions. It also distributes candy, beverages, groceries, paper products, and health and beauty care products. AMCON operates about a dozen regional health food stores run under the Chamberlin's Market & Cafe and Akin's banners.
