The company maintains a fleet of more than 70 vessels, consisting mainly of Aframax tankers but also including VLCCs (very large crude carriers), product tankers, and shuttle tankers. Its fleet has an overall capacity of more than 8.5 million deadweight tons (DWT). In addition, AET specializes in providing lightering (short-haul ferrying of oil) in the Gulf of Mexico.
