Call it No Worker Left Behind. The 21^st Century Workforce helps American workers get the tools and skills they need to compete in the ever changing and increasingly high tech global economy. The office hosts such events as the annual Opportunity Conference, the Asian Pacific American Federal Career Advancement Summit (another annual event), the Women Entrepreneurship in the 21^st Century Conference, and the Workforce Recovery Conference. These summits and conferences match employers and job seekers and offer a series of training seminars and job skills workshops. The 21^st Century Workforce was created in 2001 as part of the Department of Labor.
