Other cold ones distributed by the brewer include Worthington's, Blue Moon, Sharp's Doom Bar, and Grolsch (through a joint venture), as well as several brands under license. MCBC-UK operates three brewing facilities in Alton, Burton-on-Trent, and Tadcaster. It was formed in 2002 when the former Adolph Coors Company (now known as the Molson Coors Brewing Co.) purchased the former business of Bass Brewers. MCBC-UK generates about one-third of its parent's sales.
