The company explores for oil and gas in 60 regions in Russia, and in Azerbaijan, Colombia, Egypt, Iran, Kazakhstan, and other areas in the Middle East and Central Asia. It owns refineries in six countries, and marketing and distribution assets in 30, including more than 6,500 gas stations. In addition, LUKOIL has power generation assets in Russia, Bulgaria, Romania and the Ukraine.
