EXOR S.p.A. Competition

One of Europe's leading investment firms, Italy's EXOR S.p.A. has holdings throughout Europe and the US. Controlled by the wealthy Agnelli family through parent firm Giovanni Agnelli and C., holding company EXOR (formerly IFI - Istituto Finanziario Industriale) makes long-term investments focused on a few global companies in diversified sectors. The company owns 30% stakes in automotive giant Fiat (which the Agnellis founded and still control) and Fiat Industrial; 64% of one of Italy's top soccer clubs, Juventus; and about 70% of US real estate giant Cushman & Wakefield. EXOR has a net asset value of more than €7 billion ($9 billion) and is run by the fifth generation of the Agnelli family.
