Deutsche Beteiligungs AG Competition

Deutsche Beteiligungs, which translates as "German holdings," is Germany's oldest private equity firm. Focusing on mid-market deals, the company holds a portfolio of investments that are primarily management-led buyouts of German enterprises. Deutsche Beteiligungs has about 10 companies in its portfolio, including H. H. Heim & Haus Holding, a marketer of building components, and acoustic systems developer AKsys. In 2009 it arranged to sell Austria-based industrial and power plant services provider MCE Group to Bilfinger Berger. Founded in 1965, Deutsche Beteiligungs first specialized in providing equity to unlisted German companies.
