Hamrick Mills has not been milling around, but it has been around, milling, for more than a century. The company makes lightweight, greige-woven fabrics through two plants, Hamrick and Musgrove, in Gaffney, South Carolina. The lineup includes poly/cotton and 100% cotton blends. Hamrick Mills' fabrics are used in a diversity of applications, from home furnishings to apparel and support apparel (pockets to linings), and industrial goods (window shades to laminates for circuitry). The company makes yarn using the Murata Jet Spinning and Murata Vortex spinning machines. Common print cloth styles, along with special fabric construction weaves, are also produced. The founding Hamrick family owns and runs the company.
