Bankers Petroleum is banking on producing petroleum in the Balkans. The company has oil exploration and production operations in Albania. Bankers has 454 active oil wells and has leased rights from the Albanian government to extract crude from assets near the Adriatic Sea. It operates Patos-Marinza, Europe's largest onshore heavy oil field, which produces almost 18,170 barrels of oil per day from proven reserves of 2 billion barrels. The company also owns the Kuçova oil field (daily oil production of 297,000 barrels) and Exploration Block "F." Bankers has a petroleum agreement with state-owned oil and gas corporation Albpetrol Sh.A. In 2016 the company was acquired by Geo-Jade.
