The Palo Alto Medical Foundation for Health Care, Research and Education Company Profile

The Palo Alto Medical Foundation (PAMF) is a not-for-profit, multi-specialty physicians group providing medical and outpatient care mostly in the San Francisco Bay Area. It operates through three divisions serving distinct geographical areas: the Palo Alto Medical Clinic and the Camino Medical Group serve Silicon Valley and the East Bay; and the Santa Cruz Medical Foundation operates farther south, in and around Santa Cruz. An affiliate of Sutter Health, the organization has some 1,100 doctors covering dozens of medical specialties; its facilities also provide outpatient surgery, diagnostic imaging, and women's services. Additionally, PAMF houses a Research Institute that performs medical research.
