Breakdowns build business for The Automobile Association. Known as the AA, it is the UK's leading breakdown service providing its 15 million members with a variety of motoring services, including roadside breakdown repair, driving lessons, auto glass repair and replacement, inspections and car servicing. It also offers auto and home insurance and financing, including loans. One product separating AA from other motoring services competitors, such as Green Flag and RAC, is its satellite technology used to find the quickest route to a breakdown. AA is owned by Acromas Holdings, which merged AA with Saga Group Limited. In 2011 AA acquired the British School of Motoring.
