The Aomori Bank, Ltd. Company Profile

Aomori Bank has more than a little interest in regional banking. The bank, which serves the Aomori Prefecture, offers commercial banking, retail banking, and other products and services, such as credit cards, leasing, lending, and property management. In addition to its 111 Aomori-area offices, Aomori Bank also has nine subsidiaries. In an effort to better compete with big national banks operating in its region, Aomori Bank joined forces with two other regional financial institutions (Akita Bank and Bank of Iwate) to launch an investment trust focusing on shares of the banks and of other local companies.
