Changes in technology and workspace; Teknion tackles the task of reinventing the office. The company designs, manufactures, and markets mid- to high-end office systems, led by panel-based, freestanding, and desking configurations (fka cubicles). Other products include seating (stacking, lounge, all-purpose, wood), tables and casegoods, and storage designed for boardrooms, and training and meeting rooms, Teknion sells most of its office systems to contracted clients, including the US General Services Administration, UNFI, and Agilent Technologies. Clients are also served through a network of showrooms in major cities. Teknion, a US subsidiary of Canada's Teknion Corp., generates about half of its parent's sales.
