This company hopes there's plenty of green out there in the tall grass. Tallgrass Energy Partners (TEP) provides transportation and storage of natural gas in the Rocky Mountains and Midwest. It also provides natural gas processing and treating at its three facilities in Wyoming. TEP's transportation capacity is about 978 million cu. ft. per day; its storage capacity is about 15 billion cu. ft. Both systems have contracts for about 73% of capacity. The company's treatment facilities process about 138 million cu. ft. per day, or 100% of capacity. TEP was formed in early 2013 to hold the midstream assets of its parent, Tallgrass Development. It became a public company a few months later.
