It also also performs loss recovery and contingency collections and offers valuation services through its Residential Real Estate Review affiliate. SPS's servicing portfolio is worth some $30 billion. Founded in 1999, SPS operates offices in Jacksonville, Florida, and Salt Lake City. Credit Suisse bought SPS and its parent, SPS Holding, from mortgage insurer PMI Group in 2005 for more than $140 million.
