Rolls-Royce North America takes care of Rolls-Royce's business in the northern hemisphere: More of the UK giant's aircraft engines, gas turbines, diesel engines, power generation sets, marine engines and propellers, and distribution systems are made in the US than any other country. The US is also Rolls-Royce's largest defense market. The North American arm heads up all regional activities, as well as the global business of Energy Systems and Helicopters, and others, Defense and LibertyWorks, Naval Marine, Engine Services, and Optimized Systems & Solutions. It has 12 facilities that handle R&D to design and engineering, manufacture and assembly, as well as test, repair, and overhaul of the Rolls-Royce lineup.
