Improving upon the food pyramid, R&R Ice Cream counts ice cream as its own food group. The company is Europe's largest private label ice cream manufacturer and distributor. In addition, R&R makes and markets popsicles under brands Fab and Roundtree's, and ice cream tubs under Kelly's Cornish. It also holds the UK license to produce and sell Nestlé ice cream treats, such as Skinny Cow. R&R customers include retailers such as Tesco and Carrefour and foodservice operators. Beyond the UK, R&R sells its products mainly in France, Germany, and Poland, supported by local facilities. The company, formerly Richmond Ice Cream, is owned by Oaktree Capital, which remade the business by merging it with Germany's Roncadin.
