Progressive Furniture makes and imports traditional home furnishings, such as bedroom and living room suites, dining room sets, and entertainment centers and armoires. The company's products include solid wood pieces, as well as veneer and laminate furniture. Its furniture, sold under the Progressive brand name, is available through dealers in the US (Nebraska Furniture Mart), Canada (Sears Canada), and Honduras. Progressive sold its Royal Patina brand, which specialized in hand carvings, hand paintings, and inlay veneers. Progressive was purchased by Sauder Woodworking in 2001 and operates as an independent subsidiary.
