Bank Danamon Indonesia provides commercial banking services in Indonesia, with some 1,400 branches and 800 ATMs throughout the country. In addition to its traditional banking services for businesses and consumers, Bank Danamon Indonesia and its subsidiaries offer Syariah or Islamic-approved banking, credit cards, trade financing, and other finance products. The bank targets low-income indiduals (the majority of Indonesia's population), self-employed individuals, and other very small businesses. Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings controls two-thirds of Bank Danamon Indonesia, making it Indonesia's largest foreign-controlled bank. DBS Group plans to acquire Bank Danamon.
