PAA Natural Gas Storage has much in store for its customers. The company operates and manages natural gas storage facilities in Louisiana, Michigan, and Mississippi. Its assets, together containing a storage capacity of 40 billion cu. ft., include its Bluewater facility located near Detroit and its Pine Prairie facility in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana. PAA Natural Gas Storage serves customers in the gas distribution, electric power generation and utilities, pipeline, and industrial sectors. It was established by oil transporter Plains All American Pipeline (PAA) and another investor in 2005. PAA Natural Gas Storage went public through an IPO in 2010. In 2011 it bought SG Resources Mississippi for $750 million.
