Norbord isn't bored making boards. The company is one of the world's largest producers of wooden panels, with oriented strand board (OSB), accounting for about two-thirds of the company's sales. OSB is a type of engineered wood product used in a variety of applications. Norbord also makes other wooden homebuilding products such as fiberboard, particleboard, and hardwood plywood. The company has about 14 mills in the US, Canada, UK, and Belgium. Products are sold under brand names including Trubord, Truflor, TallWall, Solarbord, Pinnacle, Rimboard, and Windstorm. Brookfield Asset Management owns more than 70% of Norbord.
