Nefinsa, S.A. Company Profile

The wealthy Serratosa family got out of the daily grind of cement making and set their sights on the skies. Nefinsa has stakes in three publicly traded Spanish companies -- a 79% interest in construction materials conglomerate Uralita, a 75% interest in regional carrier Air Nostrum,  and a 20% interest in low-fare airline Clickair. (Four other companies, including ACS and Iberia, also own 20% each of Clickair.) Emilio Serratosa, along with his sons Javier and Gonzalo, own Nefinsa (formerly Nervión Financiera). It was founded in 1992, after the Serratosas sold their successful cement company to CEMEX.
