Founded in 1965 as CAMECO Industries, the Deere & Company subsidiary builds and distributes sugarcane harvesters, as well as earth-moving scrapers, landscape loaders (a claw-like arm), and related parts. It is conveniently located in the heart of Louisiana's sugar cane country, but also sells to cane farmers in Africa, Asia, Australia, and Latin America. John Deere Thibodaux services the machinery it makes, as well as offers pre-owned equipment.
