Impresa is the largest Portuguese media company. Its businesses include television (private TV channel SIC), magazine publishing (the largest portfolio in Portugal), and newspaper publishing (Expresso, Blitz, and Autosport). Their SIC television networks air Ídolos, the Portuguese equivalent to American Idol, and partner with Disney and DreamWorks Animation to air featured movies. Impresa has partnered with gaming company YDreams Entertainment to develop the Undercover 2: Merc Wars game franchise in multiple formats. The company, with activity reaching back to 1972, was officially founded in 1991.
