Heart of England Co-operative Society serves the retail, travel, and end-of-life needs of its members in central England. With about 40 food and home goods stores in Coventry and beyond, the regional co-operative society also runs a managed travel business that includes two full-service spas, funeral and death care services, and postal services that operate out of five of its stores. The co-op differentiates itself from other regional businesses by emphasizing its relationship with local suppliers. As part of the co-operative movement, Heart of England is not a member of outside co-operatives, but does maintain relationships with much larger co-ops, including  Co-operative Group (CWS).
