Founded in 1996 by CEO Gary Fish, FishNet provides a range of information technology security services to clients in the energy, financial services, health care, government, and other sectors. It offers administering and monitoring security technologies (such as anti-virus software, firewalls, encryption, and VPNs supplied by partner companies) and provides consulting and risk management. FishNet also offers support services and IT security training for clients' employees. Operating through 30 offices nationwide, it also serves customers in Europe through its UK office. Investcorp bought a majority stake in FishNet in 2013.
