Dover operates in four segments: engineered systems (fluid systems and refrigeration systems); energy (extraction and handling of oil and gas); printing & identification (printing, coding, and testing for consumer goods, food, pharmaceuticals, alternative energy electronics, and other markets); and communication technologies (such products as electromechanical components for communications, life sciences, and other markets). Dover traces its historical roots back to 1955.
