Curexo Technology's robots do their jobs with surgical precision. The company, which also operates as ROBODOC, designs and manufactures image-guided surgical robot systems and software used for hip and knee replacement surgery. Curexo's ROBODOC Surgical System consists of pre-surgery ORTHODOC 3-D software (which helps surgeons plan procedures) and a computer-controlled ROBODOC Surgical Assistant robot that assists surgeons with surface and cavity preparation and implant processes. The company was formed in 2007 from the assets of Integrated Surgical Services (ISS), which started making robotic technologies for hip replacement surgery in the 1990s.
