If it's a product of the downstream chemical manufacturing process, then China National Chemical Corporation probably makes it. The state-owned company, known as ChemChina, divides itself into six units. The largest is Advanced Materials & Specialty Chemicals, followed by Chlor-alkali & Basic Chemical Products, and Agrochemicals. ChemChina also refines petroleum, manufactures rubber and silicone products, and manufactures specialty chemicals. The company operates in 140 countries worldwide. It was formed in 2004 from the former Ministry of Chemical Industry and is among the country's largest industrial firms. In 2011 ChemChina acquired a majority stake in Israel-based MA Industries for $2.4 billion.
