Cetelem is a member of French bank BNP Paribas' Personal Finance division (itself part of its International Retail Services segment). The company provides consumer installment loans, credit cards, and automobile loans in some 30 countries in Europe, Asia/Pacific, and Latin America. Cetelem issues its own Aura brand of credit cards, private-label credit cards, and, outside of France, MasterCard and Visa credit cards. The company also provides consumer credit services for retail businesses, banks, and insurance companies. Cetelem is the largest consumer lender in Western Europe.
